Donna Stokes. I live in New Brunswick Canada. I live in a country setting which I love. I am retired from being a on-line English teacher, teaching adults from all over Europe and beyond . 

I am about to turn 66 in December.  I have been big/fat most of my life. Although I have tried multiple times to lose weight it has never been a lifestyle, more of a short detour. 

I now have diabetes which I try to control on my own with food as I was put on Metphormine and it gave me gastroparesis.  I solved that myself through a special diet but have never fixed the fat issue for good. I refuse all medications for diabetes and wish to solve this issue naturally. I now have also been diagnosed with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia.  5 years until treatment.  The doctors want me at my ideal weight and to be fit. That hasn't been the case since I was in high school. A daunting task at 5'1 , 224 pounds
